Optimum Nutrition whey protein powder Fast shipping, product as described. Thanks! Also, please note that the difference between this and the other ON Nutrition Whey Protein supplement powder is that this one does not come with the added BCAA's, hence the lower price point. If you're already supplementing separately for those, or just don't care, then this is the way to go. Otherwise, look for the other version they sell.

Best Optimum Nutrition Sport Nutrition I do not write reviews in exchange for freebies. I have paid for it with my own money.I am not an expert when it comes to different types of whey, neither I claim to be. I am writing this review from the perspective of the guy who wants to use whey as a meal substitute to lose weight. I suck when it comes to portion control, and do better replacing a meal with something else altogether.I have done it in the past with good results, and it is time to do it again, hence my purchase..There is a lot of confusion about which whey is the best: concentrate, isolate, etc. ON Performance Whey is a mixture of all of the above. I chose this product because concentrate is listed as first ingredient, and due to fact that it contains other compounds that are often lost in production of isolate. You can find an interesting article on, explaining all the differences. Just search for "The Whey It Is: The Truth About Whey Protein!". So make your decision according to your needs. In m case, another advantage is the price per pound is the lowest of the other more refined protein powders. Since I am not a professional bodybuilder, and need it as a meal replacement, price per pound is important factor of my decision.Like I have mentioned above, I chose this whey to lose weight. 1 rounded scoop has 160 calories per serving. My plan is to eat normal breakfast, and then replace lunch and dinner with 2 scoops of whey concentrate, mixed with a glass of milk. It will come up to 470 calories for lunch and another 470 for dinner. So, even with normal breakfast, it should come to maximum of 2,000 calories per day - 500 calories below my calculated requirement. Again, I have tried it before and lost weight while using whey as meal replacement.. My goal is to add exercise to it, to increase muscle mass, but even if I don't and just lose weight, I will be happy.TASTE: I have read that some whey powders taste chalky. This is not the case. "Vanilla shake" tastes just as one. Vanilla flavor is not overwhelming ad quite pleasant to drink. After all, I do not want to punish myself, dread drinking another shake, and dropping the whole idea altogether, right? It is also sweet - due to artificial sweeteners. I have mixed feelings about this - increases palatability,but...MIXING: I am using shaker bottle to mix it, This whey powder however, can be mixed easily using spoon. I just find shaker bottle more convenient since I am on the go often.PROS:- lower price per pound/serving compared to other types whey.- vanilla tastes like vanilla - not chalky at all.- works as a meal replacement (at least for me).- mixes well.CONS:- 30% of daily cholesterol per scoop.- low concentration of protein - only 22 grams per 38 gram scoop (44%) - better concentrates have higher ratio.- contains artificial sweeteners.I hope my review will help you to make your own informed decision.UPDATE 3/9/18So far, using the protein powder and eating sensibly (mostly but decreasing sugar intake), I have lost 18 lbs so far.

Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein An isolate with this price per pound? This protein powder is a steal! It dissolves easily, has no after taste, packs in a good amount of protein and aminos per serving, and is backed by the Optimum Nutrition brand. While I have taken issue with other Optimum products in the past, their protein powder is the benchmark for all others as far as I’m concerned. As far as the flavor goes, I would have preferred chocolate but for vanilla this doesn’t taste anywhere near as bad as some others I’ve tried. For the price, I’ll take it.The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's vanilla. Yes, much better vanilla than average, but it's still vanilla! 5 Stars for chocolate, PB, or mint.
