Muscle Milk whey protein powder I have been using this product for years. This morning I grab a scoop and it has hair or fiberglass in it.




Best Muscle Milk Sport Nutrition My muscles knot up a lot and just plain hurt. I have a physical job and stay very active I drink 1 16 oz glass of this a day and my muscle pain goes away also this has a lot of vitamins and minerals. I have been out on my e bike and my muscles were hurting a lot ,I had a glass of this muscle milk and no more muscle pain .the taste is very good ,similar to a very good chocolate cake batter. My two complaints are I would like to see this in a 5 pound container and the price for 2.5 pounds at $30 is a little high but it is still worth it for me.this stuff has also help me lose fat from my belly and sides.I mix this in a blender.


Muscle Milk Whey Protein I've used Muscle Milk of various flavors for years. Technically, nutritionally, I can't say whether it is the best protein supplement out there. But it is a big name, I tried it, and I liked it. I read that they recently changed the formula and many people are saying it is harder to mix enough to get out the lumps etc. I have to admit, when I got my first jug of the new formula, they are right. It is harder to mix thoroughly. But I've experimented and have found a new and much better way to mix it. I have no problems with the following method.I was at WholeFoods (cross marketing? :-) ) and saw something called the blender bottle. It is a plastic jug that has a whisk ball in it. I chose the one that is about a quart, approximately 30oz or 780mL in capacity. (Note they are cheaper on Amazon). I first thought that simply diluting the mixture to that volume and using the blender bottle would do the trick. But I have always mixed with skim milk. I think it tastes better and you get the extra protein/calcium/vit D punch. While this was a pretty good solution, I found a way to improve it, and the taste, and the "punch" even more.We always have about 1-2 cups of coffee left over in the morning. So now I fill the blender bottle about 1/2 way with coffee, put in ONE scoop and shake. This mixes easily. Then I add the second scoop and shake. This mixes pretty well/easily since it is more like water and not milk. Then I top off the second half with skim milk. So it mixes easily, and I get an even better flavor and punch from the addition of the coffee and milk. I work out in the morning before work, so this is a GREAT way to start the day. I prepare it the day before and it is chilled and ready to go in the morning.The flavor of the product is very good if prepared as described above, and it is easy to mix. I am getting over 60gm of protein with this preparation and lots of vitamins etc. It is an effective boost for my morning weightlifting and holds me over to lunch.Hope this helps somebody, please click helpful if you thought it was!!It is now about 6 months later and I want to add a couple things to my review. I am still using this product but alternating months between chocolate and vanilla for the variety. The difference is that I am rarely using it simply as a drink. More often these days I am adding it to other foods. For example, most mornings I am eating oatmeal (1/3 c with 2/3c skim milk 3 mins in microwave) with one healthy scoop added after cooking. Or adding it to plain greek yogurt, with a sprinkle of granola and fresh fruit. You can add it to many things, you imagination is the only limit. It is a great vanilla or chocolate flavored sweetener since it has a stevia in it with the added benefit of bringing the protein. I've seen some recipes that even use it for healthier form of cookie like treat. If you have any ideas leave a comment, I'd be interested to hear.One other thing, I should clarify that when I mix it with coffee I do it with coffee that has already cooled. If you put it in hot coffee it just lumps up.
